The beginning of the new millennium finds Lis, an 11-year-old boy whose father is missing from the Kosovo war, expelled from his home and living in a small apartment together with his mother, grandmother, sister, and brother. Trying to forget a secret that only he knows, Lis joins a French clown trio on their caravan, who are in Kosovo to entertain the children of the land. Soon, Lis learns that you can't escape the truth and that everyone must face their repressed emotions.
