Sultan, who lost her husband, tells her children that she wants to get married immediately not to be alone. While her son Nevzat thinks that this would not be taken kindly in a small town, her daughter Reyhan believes that this is too soon. However, Sultan doesn’t give up on her wish. While looking for a husband, she starts a business, turns her house into a hostel, works at the market and struggles against men. Her struggle inspires other women in the district and leads to their independence.
