Years later, Tufan returns to his village for inheritance matters and finds his childhood friend Gülşen locked in a barn due to dissociative identity disorder. As he tries to save her, he is forced to confront both the village’s oppressive notions of “honor” and the wounds left behind by hismother’s suicide.
